Basic guide
The basic digital design survival rules stat that:
- no input is left in high impedance
- no outputs are short-circuited (unless explicitly tri-state or open-x)
- all flipflops share the same clock
- all flipflops share the same asynchronous reset
Daring students
Every year, some students dare not to follow the basic survival rules:
