Programmation
This board can be programmed in 2 ways,
- first the FPGA can be directly programmed
- second the FPGA can be programmed via the onboard Flash memory
For more explanation see at the Howto below:
Development
On this page you can starting bouncing ideas, whishes, concerns etc. for the new Board FPGA-RACK.
You can also discuss stuff on the Discussion page
Main Features
- Big FPGA
- Size for Rack mounting with big backside connector
- Usable in Eurocard height Rack
- Usable in 19" 3U Rack
- Backside Connector VME Compatible. Description
- Ethernet
- 1 or 2 Ports ?
- 100 or 1000 Mbits
- USB
- Board euro Size (100mm*160mm*1.6mm)
Whishes
- Interchangeable FPGA (FPGA on Piggy Back Board)
- FMC Connector
- USB FTDI Chip for FPGA Programming and Data Transfer
- FT232H or FT2232H
- there is a project on OpenCores which uses the FT4232H, this might give you some ideas: project page, schematic --Guo 11:45, 30 March 2012 (CEST)
- Xilinx Spartan 6 >= XC6SLX45 (45K Gates)
Concerns
- Voltage Level for ADC Connection
- High Speed Pins >= 66MHz
