Tools/Dia

Dia is a very powerful open-source diagram editor. It has several packages of shapes for different types of diagrams like:

• UML
• Fluid
• Electronic Circuits
• Flowchart

Furthermore it allows exporting the diagrams to various formats:

• SVG
• JPEG
• VDX (Microsoft Visio)
• DXF (Autocad)

Dia is based on Gnome and there exists installers for Windows as well as Mac OS X.
