    • openocd : show threads in eclipse (activated in libheivs_stm32 r621)
    • svn

Prerequisites

  • Get an ARMEBS4 Suitcase (ask someone from the ARMBES4 team)
    • Verify it's content:
      • An ARMEBS4 board
      • A USB cable (A -> micro B)
  • A computer
    • With a 64 bit windows
    • A USB port
    • 2 GByte free HDD space
    • You MUST have administrator rights to run this setup
  • Get the setup file armebs4-windows-YYYY-MM-DD.exe

Setup

  • run armebs4-windows-YYYY-MM-DD.exe
    • Don't use "C:\Program Files\" as destination, the space will cause problems
    • Remember where you install it.

Drivers

windows 8 users : Driver signature enforcement must be disable before the next steps (here is a how to).

  • Connect the ARMEBS4 board to the computer using the provided USB cable : Armebs4 usb debug.png
    • The Connector is labelled "debug"
    • The green PWR led should be lit
  • Wait for automatic drivers installation fail
  • Open the Device manager
    • Select "View > Devices by connection"
    • You should see 1 device with a yellow warning symbol : Armebs4 device manager one device.png
      • right-click update driver software... > browse my computer > c:\Programs\ARMEBS4\2014-09-16\tools\drivers > > install this driver anyway
    • You should see 4 devices with a yellow warning symbol and a ARMEBS4 name : Armebs4 device manager.png
    • For each device do (-> 4 times) :
      • right-click update driver software... > browse my computer > c:\Programs\ARMEBS4\2014-09-16\tools\drivers > > install this driver anyway
    • Now you've got 3 usb serial ports (and don't ask me why there are only 3...)
    • For each usb serial port with the warning do (-> 4 times) :
      • right-click update driver software... > browse my computer > c:\Programs\ARMEBS4\2014-09-16\tools\drivers > > install this driver anyway
  • run C:\Programs\ARMEBS4\2014-09-16\tools\zadig\zadig.exe
    • options > List all devices
    • select armebs4 v1.1 (Interface0)
    • select Winusb
    • click on the big button "Replace Driver" or "Reinstall Driver"
