This setup is done for WIN10.

Launch Libero IDE installer, options:

  • Installation path: C:\EDA\Libero
  • Common files path: C:\EDA\Libero\Common
  • Features: Synplify but not Modelsim
  • Download IDE quickstart guide

Save the IDE quickstart guide in C:\EDA\Actel\Documentation

Add license server info:

  • right-click on my computer -> Properties -> Advanced -> Environment Variables
  • select LM_LICENSE_FILE
  • add ;1702@actellm.hevs.ch

In order for Synplify to aquire a license from the license server the Environment variable TZ need to be set properly.

Connect a FlashPro programmer to an USB port and let Windows install the drivers.
