Chameleon
Amontec Parallel Port Programmer
Windows 7 The Chameleon doesn't work in Win7 machines initially. To let it work perform the following steps.
- Install Xilinx ISE of your choice, see versions here
- Install Amontec Driver Amontec Chameleon Driver
- Reinstall Jungo Drivers for Parallelport Programmers
- Open Commandline
- browse to your
.../Xilinx/ISE_DS/ISE/bin/nt64for 64bit machines or.../Xilinx/ISE_DS/ISE/bin/nt64 - Type
wdreg -inf %cd%\windrvr6.inf uninstall - Type
wdreg -inf %cd%\windrvr6.inf install - Type yes for the Jungo Driver installation
- DONE!
NOTE: In a 64bit system the programs placed in .../Xilinx/ISE_DS/ISE/bin/n64 have to be used.
